The increase in the minimum wage not only brought on the animated order boards in FF restaurants, it also kickstarted the purging of top level management as FF companies rushed to get rid of their highest paying employees to compensate. The increase at such a quick rate caused more problems than it solved. Corporations will always find a way to win and pass the costs down to the general public
Even 5 $ would bring in automation. It's not the amount of money that's the key here. So raise the minimum wage and let the people get their money as long as those jobs exist, they will disappear anyway
People dislike and deny the truth. Cognitive dissonance when they want something so badly that they're not willing to hear facts if they are in any way negative. Even though we know that there are pros and cons to everything.
