You had anything to do with it?
'Murica' ??? You don't know English is the language from England, which is in Great Britain.
"Murica' where you still measure things using a system based on an ENGLISH king's body parts ?
'Murica' where you pronounce some French words the French way but not others ? Herb and Hospital.
'Murica' pull your head in.
Jealous much?
There are 2 types of countries in the world - those that use the metric system and those that put a man on the moon. 'Murica F*** Yeah!!!
The Chicago Convention (look it up) established the International Civil Aviation Organization in 1944. 54 of 55 invited nations attended and 52 member nations voted to establish aviation rules including, I believe, the use of English as the official language for civil aviation among the member nations. There are now 193 member nations of the ICAO.
The reason was that English was not only the primary language of a lot of people but more importantly was that English was the most common second language of many people.
Basically 52 nations voted to make English the language of civil aviation because it was so widely used throughout the world, NOT because the US made them.
Last time I checked, Chicago was in America. And why was English the most common second language? Because 'Murica F*** YEAH!!!!
Actually English as a common language has more to do with the expansion of the British Empire and world trade long before the US became a world power.
It's okay. Miley "the virus" Cyrus became her porn name after all.
