A: "Looks like your alley is due for re-paving. They do this ahead of time to make sure they’re not going to run into anything unexpected on the day they bring in all the heavy equipment."

A: "Looks like a brush cutter chain guard. These hang down off a brush cutter or “bush-hog” type of attachment to stop bricks stones and large tree debris flying out and causing injury. The holes in the angle iron would allow the length to be bolted to the machinery."

A: "My Granny Sue had a set of these in her basement that me and my siblings played with a set of these as kids. There was a whole bunch of name brand cans. I just can’t remember if the Campbell’s soup can looked just like this and was the same size or not. It was a long time ago."

Hey Izi? When you're posting these, make sure you scroll down the thread to the right answer to what the OP answers to as "Solved!" on Reddit r/whatisthisthing. u/leelee_nyc had the correct answer: Gaggenau Vario steamer (model VK230114).
Not a double boiler. :) Just a polite fyi.
Notice the steel wheels. Back when warehouses had hardwood floors multiple workers would use one these to drag palleted goods short distances, like when one pallet needed to be jockied out of the way to fetch another pallet.
Also used by truckers in the back of trucks.
