Cene,

Edwin & Cene, You are both correct. However as a man I must say it can be uncomfortable to sit with your "junk" squeezed tight between your legs for long periods of time. Tight jeans make it worse.

Jincy,
So Jincy, you are a self-righteous individual who believes that Unicorns would fart rainbows if all guns were banned. Silly, silly, person, I'm from St. Louis and the guns and blood flow from those who don't even give a damn about gun laws! Yeah, and the "bangers will still get guns without even blinking!!! You're a fool, Jincy, these "white crackers" aren't the danger!

Jincy,

The only @$$hole in society today is the one that believes everyone must live as they say. It is easy to see that you are the type to ban it for everyone from the actions of a few. By that same logic we should ban cars because some drive drunk.

Elenor, the same can be said about you. Maybe some people want to live in a safe society without power tripping arsenal collectors killing innocent people. I spent 2 horrible years in southern Utah, where everyone was armed to the teeth with itchy trigger fingers. There were no gangs there, very little crime, extremely low diversity, yet the biggest cause of death after car accidents was manslaughter or murder 1 and 2 via handgun. It was like middle class neighbors in an argument that escalated to a shooting, road rage that escalated to a shooting, a man “fearing for his life” when a drunk 16 yr old girl (white) flopped down on his lawn unconscious. An endless list of preventable deaths caused by your average middle aged white male diehard gun proponent. And the media just brushes it under the rug so everyone can fool themselves into believing that deadly weapons are perfectly ok in the hands of literally anyone. All anyone needs to do is look at the stats from other countries with any level of gun control to see how many lives it actually saves.

Carrie,
I live in the "bible belt". Specifically Southern Missouri. I can assure you that is not the typical American mentality. Those people exist but they are in the minority by far. Many of us own guns, myself included, but to own more than a pistol, rifle, and shotgun is atypical. Pistol for home protection, rifle for deer hunting, shotgun for turkey hunting. Automatic weapons are purely for recreation. If you are hunting and can't get a clean kill in one shot you shouldn't be hunting.
