That's per month in the US, mind you... Countries with with actual healthcare pay about 90% less.

I wonder who he was thinking of when he said "America first"

Dutch,

price is not the same as cost. Someone has to pay the bill. That's why we have more drugs and sooner.

Chester, the US healthcare system, or lack of, s#cks. People suffer and die from easily treatable ailments everyday because they can’t afford treatment. It’s absurd.

Ivy,
...and yet the entire world comes to the United States when in need of treatment.

Ivy,

No they don't die. That is leftists propaganda. Medicaid gives medical to anyone who can't afford it. Hospitals cannot refuse people if they don't have medical. Illegal aliens can go for free treatment without being deported. It's the middle class that carries the high cost burden to carry those who don't have medical.

Chester,

You're right, cost would be about $0.012 per pill. Maybe take a closer look at the markup your for profit pharmaceutical companies and hospitals. And no, that extreme markup isn't "just making money", if that were the case, it would be a couple bucks per pill.

Chester,

There is no lack of drugs here, don't worry. They are just mostly free.

#35 I wouldn't say the UK is "full" of crinkle-crankle walls. They are mostly found in the East of England (where I live) and even there they are sufficiently unusual that one comments on them when they do turn up. Nice though.
