#17 I'm sorry, but that's both hilarious and awesome. There's no reason that, after she stood in line, the bank should tell her that she now has to go wait in line again at the ATM when they have a drawer full of cash right there. What difference does it make how much the amount is? It's her money and the bank is the service provider. The bank is the "Karen" in this instance, and I wish I was that clever. (sorry, I got a little upset there)

That's not a Karen, that's an old coot showing some slick wagie *exactly* what the phrase "improvise, adapt and overcome" means.

I'm a manger, I mange several employees and travel to different offices, this lady was sitting in one of my waiting areas and she was complaining that we didn't have a bench, or filing cabinets, and other random things. She asked one of my employees if she could talk to the manager, I walked up to and asked "what seems to be the problem?" She said "I wanted to speak with the manager".
I said "I am the office manager" she didn't believe me, she said "let me speak to the manager, not so employee".
I said "Fine" I walked away and came back with my business card and handed to her, she whipped her phone out and called my number, I let it go to voicemail, she heard my voice on my voicemail, I looked at her and she looked at me and I said "so, how can I help you?" She walked out.

Do you call a black woman who acts like this a Karen? Or is this term specific to white women?
