it is not BS, in old Roman empire at BC the new year started with spring in March still in Persian speaking countries it is, that why October means eight but it is the tenth month now!

I have a few oak trees in my yard that are nowhere near 50 years old and they produce acorns every two years.

What the post should say is that, most oaks reach their PEAK acorn production at the age of 50.
