Julia,

There is no indication that the door mat is either pro or anti vaccine. I know of folks that refuse to let vaccinated people in their home... because of stupidly held beliefs that come from right-wing misinformed social media dimwits.

#34 My medical status is none of your business.

Do you have AIDS, hepatitis, or tuberculosis? Are you a drug addict? Do you see where this is leading? May your chains rest lightly.

Angelica,

Well if you know a have fever and and you infect your coworkers, it is actually causing health and money damage to a company and it is their concern.

If you have HIV and you want to hook up with someone or split your blood on them (any sport game) - it is their concern.

If you have epilepsy and I have a stroboscope you will suffer g so it is my concern too.

If you have any kind of allergy and you don't tell me, but you try to sue me because I've poisened you, well than you are a common citizen of Murrica, but if you would have brain and tell me you have allergies before I give you cookies, it would be my concern not to give you food that causes you harm.

If you care about anything and anyone else besides yourself, it is everyones concern if you have a disease that could do harm to others.

If you want to be an ignorant murican citizen, well thank God that you live on a different "island" (continent)!

Eric, I was with you up until the prejudiced part. Don’t try and make this an American issue. People all around the world are refusing to be responsible and buying into the antivax nonsense. By far the vast majority of Americans are doing the right thing by getting vaccinated, wearing masks, and taking proper precautions. Just because the “dumb” faction is louder, doesn’t mean they are the majority. It’s difficult to believe how ignorant people can be about stereotyping other nations. I never realized how prevalent that mentality is outside the US. It makes you all sound like cavemen.

Ivy,
The "vast majority" you mention being fully vaccinated in the US is 57%, with less than 50% in North Dakota, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Missouri, Indiana, Montana. And less than 60% in 22 other states. The state of Vermont is the only state to break 70% (70.4%).

Franklin, your numbers are for first dose and booster. The rate is higher for the first dose. And the states you mentioned aren’t surprising, as they are also part of the group of highest antivax beliefs, in addition to a few others. The same website shows that the US actually has a 66% vaccination rate and that’s excluding a large number of partial cases. Compared to a world rate of 47%. That’s a huge difference.

Where I live is reported 89% fully vaccinated (county) and nobody is taking antivax stances here like they are in some areas because they simply won’t be able to enter their places of work. Like I said, there is a certain faction refusing to accept the vaccine, but that doesn’t represent the majority of the population.

Tabitha,

Are you stupid? It’s not my responsibility as a renter to install a new appliance. And what am I supposed to do with the old one?
