And yet so many people think that adding government to the process will somehow fix it. If you really want to see the difference, ask your next doc/dental visit what the cash price (no insurance involvement) would be.
I think the best solution would be to make powerty illegal. That way poor people who can't afford health insurance would be de facto criminals an go to jail, where they wold get healt care. Plus the prison-for-profit investors would get a much needed boost.
