#21 Yep.

Born in '59; I think I was about 4YO... we had one of those old refrigerators. To see if the light really goes off when the door is closed- my older brother had me get inside the refrigerator and then he closed the door. He opened it, let me out, I reported, then he got inside...

...I couldn't reach the handle.

Good thing mom was home.

But we did prove the light really does shut off when the door is closed.

The next experiment; Is the stove burner really hot when it glows red? (Mom says it is...) was never performed. Mom was right about the refrigerator light.

"Trust, but verify."

Jos,

No. It doesn't. Just because it looks like something you don't about, understand, or can't do doesn't mean it's fake.

Mel, She could not hold that position because her center of gravity is too far back so it’s very possible it was photoshopped.

Ralph,

Soo, you are an expert in balancing this an every position a body can hold? You tried it out? Or is it just "cOmMOn sense and I don't need to say anything except centre of gravity because that proves it all and you're an idiot if you don't agree with me"?

Pando is located in eastern Utah near Fish lake. It is the largest single living organism. It is roughly 14-16,000 years old, not 80,0000. This part of Utah was still experiencing glaciers 80,000 years ago.

Alison,

With no food source, other than themselves, they would eventually die off. It takes more calories to grow an organism than what is in the organism. They'd eventually just eat each other to extinction.

it's funny if you look up the cause of the traffic jam in pic #1, "An increase in heavy truck traffic" but if you look at the pic you see only a couple of trucks.
