It goes to show that just because you're good at one thing it doesn't mean you're good at other things. That's why I don't pay attention to scientists who comment on things outside their area of expertise. Bill Nye the Science guy is one of those.

That thread is for people showing off their education, not showcase little mistakes.
Having a degree or PhD doesn't mean your smart, just means you found a way to pass some exams. I know people who are not very clever but through endurance and hard work they earned a MBA.
