You can see a distinct line drawn here between amazing classics still beloved and pop fad albums that were super hot but basically forgotten now

#29 I worked as music director at a two-bit radio station in Georgia when Columbia Records sent 20 non-"promotional" copies of "Born To Run" for the station to give away, so those albums would have counted as "sales." Same probably happened for "Born in the U.S.A." Springsteen always was, is, and will be over-hyped, and is nothing more than a Bob Seger wannabe.

#12 Interesting choice of photo for Metallica. Dave Mustaine (far right) was kicked out of the band before they even made their first studio album. The original bassist Cliff Burton (far left) is there, too. He died in 1986 when their tour bus crashed. Mustaine went on to form Megadeth.
