Far to much fanfic would say yes.
After the first five books I was sure that it was going to be:
Harry and Hermione (the two heroes/best friends ride off into the sunset)
Neville and Ginny (she gets the other boy-who-lived)
Ron and Luna (she foresaw them together and was just waiting on him to wise-up)
But the last two books seemed like the studio was ghostwriting it.
