#26 is a standart lego concrete block. You can stack them up on eachother.
#34 i see this all around, for grassing but i didnt know its anti-scateboard feature.

Feltie,

yea, you're correct. both of those are not hostile - rather, function of design. #34 is for permeability of areas which require machinery/vehicle traverse, very important for rainwater management.

Feltie,

And the Lego Blocks are a safety feature against attacks with cars in pedestrian frequented areas or festivals.

yeah, let's invest in stopping homeless people sleeping here, instead of putting the money in place to sleep.

on the other hand; there are those who want to be homeless.

The reason people won't inact the 'Finland-model' of homeless people, isnt because politician dont know about it. Its because an offset of expectation of growth of real-estate-value would default a lot of morgage based loans.
That would cost Banks billions of Dollars.
And lets not forget: Our governments aren't run buy people, but by banks.
We just have the luxury of changing their colours(red/blue) every 4 years

Why can't we just make being homeless illegal?
Problem solved.

I certainly don't want those filthy, drug addicted, drunken slobs being an eyesore anywhere near where I live. Let them go live in the woods or some sh#t. Whatever, just get them out of the city, and with any means necessary. I say get out the hoses.

Chrissy,

Nonsense. Anyone can become homeless. And lot's of homeless actually have a job but can't afford to live somewhere. It's a real problem in silicon valley where housing is too expensive for people with low salaries. Smart people in tech homeless because they can't make rent. Educate yourself about it.

Crate,

so true I remember a story where in SanFran office workers lived in shacks and cars because they couldn't afford anything else.

Crate,

The vast majority of homeless are drug addicts.
That’s your problem if you can’t afford the town you want to live in. Move. There are lots of affordable areas in the country.

Genevieve,

That's complete nonsense. I've known 2 people that had a pretty good business but lost everything due to a betrayal by his significant other and one that lost everything due to circumstances. They went from pretty well off to almost homeless. Just wanting to believe they must all be junkies that don't want to work doesn't make it true. A huge number of homeless are people that need psychological help but never got it for example. And you cannot always simply move. Things are just not as simple as you'd like them to be.

This is why you don't let the homeless sleep under overpasses. Its because they don't actually think, or are not actually capable of thinking.

Hey, all you self-righteous people here-- let 'em live in your guest room for a week and I reckon you'll change your opinions right quick.

I love Architecture that stops the homeless from sleeping or staying in a particular location. They piss and sh#t everywhere and generally abuse those around them. If you happen to get a good looking woman who's homeless and you try to get a bit of action, they tend to get very hostile. Homeless b*tches.
