#12 What is the difference between being forgotten and being completely forgotten?

Johanna,

in this context it's forgotten by one person vs. forgotten by everyone

#16 The most shocking thing I ever got was a message from Google Maps that showed how many miles I'd travelled and all the places I'd visited that year. I did not ask for that feature.
The other day I had a conversation near Alexa about ordering Jersey Mike's. A short while later, I saw a mobile ad on my phone I'd never seen before. Guess what? It was for Jersey Mike's.
Everything you do and say is recorded, but it's almost exclusively for the purpose of selling to ad targeting companies. No one really cares about what you do in your personal lives, so go ahead and kink it up. No need for shame.

Kristin,

Why would anyone keep track of every little detail of your life? You're simply not important enough on anyone's radar to get that information.
And it's not even possible to get all that information and keep it organised. That would require millions of people just for the possibility you need that info one day. All those employees would need to have their data collected as well. Then it has to be checked by even more people...
This whole distopia where all the governments are out to get you belongs in the movies. Get a grip.

Deborah,

Hi bro, I am from germany and our history taught me: it happens.
The Nazis or the Stasi did not have modern technology. Holy sh#t if they would have had...

Teresa,

They didn't do it the either. It was even more impossible 50 years ago. And all the nazis did was copy parts of your family line because of their racial obsession. These conspiracy lovers are talking about admitting they fap to granny porn or inane nonsense like that near their phone, it being recorded, someone cataloging this, and then using that info against them...somehow...when they go protest against the super secret liberal deep state conspiracy.

#18 Not just bugs, either, but things like dirt and rat feces, too. It's the same for all mass-produced, processed foods, like coffee, chocolate, etc. The truth is that's it's impossible to avoid, and the best they can do is set a limitation.

Do you like pistachios? Those sour/bitter ones you get are that way because there was a navel orangeworm inside it when it got roasted. Yum.

#14 Well, that's stupid. If you transplanted eyeballs and brains, you'd still be looking at yourself through another medium. Must have been written by an Apostle of the Obvious.

#16 Not sure about that. I use a VPN into a TOR browser. Pretty much sure I'm scrambled. Maybe not, but you'd have to show why.

@18 and.... just protein, after all. Think about all the dirt you've eaten over your lifetime. Stats say 6 pounds on average. So what's another beetle?

#20 But its not flame broiled!

#23 Or cheers and laughter. I'll have to make a request that, for anyone around at my demise, they cheer me off to my next (although non-existent) existence.

#11 Some experts think infant mortality messes with the true life expectancy numbers of the dark ages. Something like if a baby lived to 5 years old, they could live to 60 but 50% or more of all babies did not live long enough to be 5 years old.
