It is a bikelane and apparently there were incidents where some turds span a steel wire between the poles in head hight. Thats it.
Are you saying you know exactly where it is?
The one with the steel beam triangle has the same reason why people have the don't walk under a ladder superstition. You break or disrupt the symbolism of the Holy Trinity which they form.
Funny to see enough people avoid it to form such a well worn path.
I let my dog walk next to me, but he always chooses the sharp gravel over the grass with his sniffer engaged. He also doesn't seem to care when the road is hot either. It seems dogs may not have a concern about the road surface as much as it does to us.
true I live in South America and my parent's dogs have no problems walking sitting or lying on the searing hot patio floors in the summer.
Tim,
Not every dog is the same of course. And dogs living in warmer countries are used to heat. Just give your dog the option to use grass if possible. They can choose for themselves.
Unlike humans, canines are walking on pads of keratin, the same stuff your nails are made of, not flesh - which explains the tolerance to heat.
Doggo not used to waking will have more tender footpads.
