1000 years? Try reading the original Wizard of Oz books and you can see how much English has shifted in about 100 years. (And honestly I've never heard that "Modern" version...)

Jane,

The "modern" version reads terribly. It just doesn't feel the same. However, it's probably the only way millennials and zoomers could possibly understand it.

Caleb, For them to understand would require illustration, like a comic book.
Oh. Excuse me; graphic novel. * puking noises *

Nah, they'd just be offended. It's the only thing they're really good at.

#35 - it's not shrinking; a higher resolution camera provides more pixels and more color depth; it's just a difference in processing.

It's indeed shrinking.

Vanna,
Storms flucuate, even ones that big. Maybe just less of it is visible on the surface currently, like an iceberg.

Vanna,

Correct. How could Jupiter's climate possibly be changing without people there burning fossil fuels? Or is it proof that life exists on Jupiter?

Frank,
Not as long as the government keeps using surveillance drones; they get snippy when you shoot them down.
I would recommend training birds of prey to hinder them instead.

Looks to me the bible is going Gen Y / curling generation.

In the 1611 version you are not allowed to want anything - you should be happy with what you have. He [The Lord] makes (forces) you to lie down. You're not allowed to touch the water; you're lead *besides* it.

In the 1989 version you have everything you want. You're allowed to lay down in the green pastures (implying everything is then brought to you). He also takes away any effort on your part in finding water.

Seems people can't handle any resistance anymore without breaking down.....

Lissia,

I agree with your views on the 1989 version. The people who are responsible for this must have been 20 to 40 years old back then.

#4 Really shows decline of education today, young people can't answer those questions, can't write in cursive, cant use an analog clock. But be sure they are indoctrinated to use the correct pronouns, and feel guilty about their skin color.

Can't drive a manual shift vehicle, either. But, as you know, any single one of them is smarter than all the rest of us put together.

Franklin,

City built for 100 people, occupied by 500. Why? Because the surrounding empty land is all OWNED. So YES overpopulation IS a thing, but not for the reasons YOU think.

#6 I'm glad this image exists... this explains how the brain sees the info given since word descriptions are useless. Even healthy brains can see random stuff, but they dismiss it as not part of physical reality. Altered brains can't separate physical reality from sight/sounds like these.
