Umm... your argument is confusing... are you saying US conservatives or liberals are morons? Conservatives want less government... and thus a government LESS like Norway (which liberals would want).... so to try and equate Norwegian government to US government is entirely wrong. the US SHOULD try and emulate Norway... but because of conservatives the US will continue to be filled with uneducated, unproductive and self-absorbed people because the US government doesn't care about those people or try and help them (not that we should be helping those who don't want to be helped... that's another story). So, if you are praising Norway, then you are praising liberals who would like to emulate it (socialism), not the conservatives who are trying to squash it.

Good thing the petroleum market hasn't collapsed yet. When it does, Norway will no longer have crude oil as an income stream. I hope they're prepared.
