The Prius Hybrid is not an electric-only vehicle, and it does have a transmission. It's called a Power Split Device. All-electric vehicles also have transmissions, and they're called CVTs -- Constant Velocity Transmissions.

Do I have to know all the names/brands? I didn't knew most of them.
E.g. #8 Sears Kenmore. Is that like the Gucci version of the refrigerators or what's up there?
It always sounds they grabbed some really expensive stuff or are they just justifying the old cr#p they've got?
