Sanford, not many people use nor care about trains in the US. We only use them to move freight so having top notch rail system just isn’t important here. It’s old technology to us so of course we don’t invest in it.

While most of the world built railroads to visit their neighbors, the USA did what those countries did a few centuries ago, we went exploring. We went to the moon, sent scouts to Mars and past other planets and then out of the solar system. And then we built telescopes to see across the universe. And why you may ask, because a great vacation spot is hard to find.
