A right? The US Constitution's second amendment does not grant a right, but rather grants privilege which will not be infringed upon.
Rights are entitlements to non-interference. Infringement does not invalidate a right as it does not interfere, otherwise your 'right to safe housing' or 'right to food' (as basic human rights which US economic capitalism infringes upon) would be provided by your government - which the USA Government does not do.
