Dorothy, Gold is useless? Gold supply is controlled? So nobody can prospect in Alaska or the ocean? Gold prices are set by the markets. There is no similarity to diamonds at all.

That is not a star. The arc of light that the blip of light is mingled with is a good look at something called gravitational lensing. The idea is that somewhere far to the other side of that normal looking thing, the light shining from some bright object much farther away is being bent by the gravity of the thing in front. So the thing in back, is much to far away to see an individual star. The thing that the arrow is pointing at is probably another galaxy of some sort. dash
