There was a radio sender that did send games on your radio to record at 1.440khz every week. The games were made by private programmers and given to that radio station via post. They did fit exactly on one MC. I have 300 of them still and they are amazing.
Dutch national radioprogram Hobbyscope had something called basic-code. They started the series with transmitting loader-programs for several platforms like apple, commodore, atari, and in later editions would transmit programs in said basic-code. all platforms could run those programs. I still have some of those on tape.
