"I See The Signs In Every Retail Store And On Every Public Transport In My City Now"

"It’s honestly [messed] up that people have become so vile to workers over the last few years that these are needed. And ofc the signs do nothing, people still say whatever they want to your face anyways"

#25 And that's how raising the minimum wage works.

According to Dobbin, if you don't raise wages, prices will stay the same.

#2 - I worked retail for about 5 years when I was going through the university - I always found that the Sunday shoppers were the most courteous and respectful. Many people just aren’t cut out for a customer facing job… you’ve seen them… you try to ask them something and it’s like you’ve interrupted their day… they give you a one word answer and don’t try at all to be helpful… those are the people that wrote the memes above…. miserable existence no matter what job they’re doing.

#16 Didn't know that leaving a good word for a Walmart employee will actually benefit them. Will start doing this immediately. Worked in retail decades ago and it's really frustrating at times.

#17 This is what talking to my uneducated family members is like... My sister tells me she has four kidneys, and I look at the Dr's note and it says she just has kidney pain, not even a kidney stone... but she insists that I am too stupid to read the paperwork, when I have a college degree and she barely has a diagnosed IQ of 80.

#12 The signs use to be "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" and people believed them, but the signs need to be BIGGER so employees can point at them from anywhere without a word.
