if only I knew what diamnond was. I'm sort of bothered by the typo.
it should be mentioned that they only generate very little energy. for example, a regular AA battery stores 10.000 Jule and an NDB of the same size would generate 15 Jule per day. but for low-power devices, it could still be very useful.

what will really blow your mind is finding out about planned obsolescence of led lighting. that when it started a rich sheik in the UAE had Phillips design specific bulbs to last 25000 hrs and used 2 watts of energy. Phillips doesn't make these available because then they can't constantly sell new bulbs.
