Saw this and immediately heard the Cowardly Lion from Wizard of Oz. "Come on, put em up put em up..."
Since in Europe people don't start shooting wildly ASAP, there are other ways of overpowering attackers who are armed with a knife. A Bulletproof vest protects against bullets but not against stabs, a chain mail shirt helps against stabs. And the knife is knocked out of your hand with the staff. Just simple with out pew pew pew
