I think the only things I tried to collect was a WW1 rifle collection. I made it to 9 rifles before I gave up as so many were converted for WW2 that it was impossible to get for a reasonable price. Then I tried to collect AK-47s from every nation that manufactured them. I got up to 23 AKs and then got rid of the collection along with a bunch of other stuff when they were talking about a $200/yr tax for each. That's like $427.00 each now if it remained in place.
