Her arm is pointing up
Her right arm is on the steering, which is higher than ground level, causing the shadow to be cast as if her arm is pointing up but, it's not, it's just an illusion. Zoom in and you'll see the shadow of the steering in her hand, going the right way. It does fool your eyes at the first glance.
