“Adam Sandler. Actually asked about me and shared a few jokes back and forth.”

“I worked with him as an extra on Funny People. He’s sooo nice. It was really cold that day and I was wearing a cheerleader’s outfit. He kept asking me if I was okay and if I needed a jacket between takes. Super down to earth dude.”

“Agree. We saw him at a local deli and my 8 yr old daughter asked to take a pic with him. He was so nice to her and did indeed take the pic!”

“Danny DeVito. The nicest man I ever met you just wanted to hang out with them and listen to him tell stories.”

“He had a lake house on Flathead Lake in Montana when I was living there as a kid. We were on the dock at the gas station filling up a boat and he came strolling up to do the same. He just waited in line and kinda casually chatted with people like an everyday guy.

Meanwhile I was terrified of him because I had just seen the Batman with him as the Penguin and I was like six lmfao. Outside of my irrational fear of him, he seemed great.”

“Robin Williams. An absolute angel. Soft spoken. Kind.”

“Robert Duvall. He lives in the area and we frequent the same country store and a restaurant in a neighboring town. I’ve talked to him, but never alluded that I know who he is, and he’s always pleasant to those he interacts with.”

“Willie Nelson makes a point of hanging around and shaking hands. I’ve seen him get on his knees on stage just to talk to a fan.

Super nice guy and his singing is best heard in person. I’m not even a country fan but hearing his singing in-person helped me to appreciate what I was missing out on.

Honestly, he’s one of the nicest musicians I’ve come across.”

“Anthony Bourdain. Met him while randomly walking down the street in Chinatown NYC and he was incredibly kind”

“Muhammad Ali, Met him on the wharf in San Francisco, CA. He and his wife were just walking across an empty parking lot. He was incredibly gracious and kind. He shook my hand and patiently listened with a smile on his face while I extolled my admiration.”

“Amy Adams. She’s absolutely lovely and just lives a super normal life. Very down to-to-earth, and is a wonderful mom.”

“Leonard Nimoy used to come in a tIny upscale restaurant I worked at on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Nicest guy ever. Over the years he and I were on a first name basis. As nice as he was his wife was even sweeter. I miss them both.”

“Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. A truly lovely, humble, and genuinely gracious couple.”

“I didn’t meet him, but I worked at Disneyland in the late 90’s and saw Tom Hanks at the park. He was leading a group of Make-A-Wish kids on a tour of the park. It was clear he had done this before, because he was in front giving the tour, and the VIP tour guide was just tagging along not saying anything.”

“Carrott Top. Very down to earth and wanted to make sure we were all taken care of. Seemed real genuine when he would talk to us.”

“Bill Paxton, when he was in Oklahoma filming Twister. Very nice guy, made conversation with locals constantly. He told my daughter he was jealous because she had temporary tattoos. No one had a bad thing to say about him. “

“John C Reilly really is as nice and cool as you would hope he is.”

“Forest Whitaker. He came into a theater I was working at for a screening when I was like 19 and was just the nicest guy ever. Genuinely interested to talk to everyone and all smiles, he left a big impression on me.”

“Steve-O before he filmed his special in Austin, really just genuine happy dude.”

“Kevin Smith. The guy is so genuine in every fan interaction. I was at a Q&A with my husband and he spent a long time talking to us joking around and hugged my husband and took a photo with him. Nothing but nice things to say about him as a person!”

“Vince Vaughn. Had a couple beers with him at Notre Dame tailgate. My friend and I saw him but decided to give him his space. He came up to us looking to shoot the shit. Exactly like you think he would be, but super down to earth and easy to talk to”

“David Bowie. I used to work as the Doorman/Lead Concierge at one of the higher end hotels in a major city. Mets all sorts of famous people, some were dicks, most were pretty normal and some were really awsome. I helped Mr Bowie settle in and took care of any special requests. Chilled with me and just chatted for a good 10 minutes. Really down to earth guy.”
