The tradition started in NYC in 2002 and has grown year on year with participants now coming from over 60 countries worldwide. Here are some pics from this year’s designated “No Pants Subway Ride” day.

The circus is supposed to be a fun event where clowns and other performers make people laugh and smile. But these vintage photos of an old circus look more like something you would see in a horror movie.
