Rhino horns are of high demand on the black market. Poachers kill hundreds of animals in order to sell their “treasure”. About 800 rhinoceros were destroyed by poachers in the last three years.

Can you imagine a cow being a well-trained show horse? Thanks to 15-year-old Regina Mayer from Germany it’s now possible. The girl from Laufen always dreamt about her own horse, but her parents who had a stable full of cows refused to get her one. So Regina started to train her pet cow Luna.

The biggest mystery is in how this mountain lion managed to climb there.

Sardines are not just a tasty treat for some, but they are a formidable and beautiful force off the South African coast each year. This so called "sardine run" contains literally billions of these fast moving fish, making for a delirious spectacle.

These dogs are being trained the Wolfgrey K9 training facility that is located close to Bangalore, India. They are used to try to prevent the violence in the cities and towns including riots, terrorist threats and domestic aggression. These K9s make great partners.

This is one cute pooch, everyone loves this dog on Facebook. His name is Boo and he has been seen over 1 million times and 10,000 people have liked this little doggie and once you see him you’ll be in puppy love.

People do love their pets, and are willing to pay large amounts of money (as evidenced by the rates here) for their cats to be pampered and cared for while they're off on vacation, or business trips. The cats at this hotel can have a private suite, meals server 'a la cat', and are pampered with a special eco-friendly kitty litter that removes odor in seconds. If you have several cats, they can be housed in the 'chalet' together.

Meet a bunch of laughing owls. They are all over the Internet. I suppose they aren’t really laughing but they certainly look like they are. Who knows maybe that are really laughing.

These are probably the funniest running doggies I’ve ever seen. When you see them run in real life, you don’t notice their face expressions but captured on the camera you can see it all.

A real predator will always catch its prey.

Meet the Ribbon Seal. They can be found in the Subarctic and the Arctic areas of the North Pacific in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea. They are known for their black skin, which has four white markings; a circular marking on each side of their body that encloses the front fins and a strip around the tail and one around the neck.

These are some very cute photos of dogs walking on their back two legs. Although it must be most unnatural for them, they seem right at home walking on two legs. Either they have been trained well or they are part human.

These are a collection of two headed animals. They seem perfectly normal other than the fact that they have two heads. I have heard that many of these two-headed animals lead perfectly normal lives.

A very good tip for all of you who are going to do it one day.

DON’T follow an elephant very closely.

These are indeed some pesky squirrels getting into some public trash cans. Squirrels are opportunistic and will take advantage of anything that they think contains food. Bird feeders are one of their favorites but a trash cans will also do nicely.

Yes, dogs fail too sometimes but it makes it even more hilarious and cuter.
