Dogs are the truest kinds of friends as these photos prove. They are loyal, obedient and provide undying love. The old adage that a dog is a man’s best friend is indeed true.

A fox named Alice was photographed digging for her next meal.

These are very interesting photographs of animals in the wild by as many as 420 hidden cameras which were installed in tropical locations. It’s a rare thing to get a photograph of animals in their natural habitat.

Wildlife photographer Alex Hyde uses his years of scientific training in biology photograph camouflaged creatures. He is trying to provide insight to people about the problems animals have that have to depend on camouflage to survive.

Horseshoe crabs are an example of creatures that inhabited our planet some 230 million years ago. They have not changed a bit over time. They can be easily recognized by their straight rigid tail and hard shell that reminds of a military helmet.

This is the most unusual pet I have ever seen.

Cross-bred between a serval, an African wild cat, and a domesticated cat this unique animal gained popularity towards the end of the 20th century. They can weigh as much as 14 pounds, are very loyal like dogs and can be walked on a leash. However, you will have to pay at least $20,000 to buy one.

These ocean creatures are very creepy and more terrifying than sharks. They are deadly, incredibly large, and they all are very scary.

In Australia, this baby humpback whale was found stranded on a beach. Soon after, it was returned to the ocean. It took several people and a lot of effort but it was all worth it.

We had the ugliest rat ever before, now it's a turn for something cute. This rat's name is Bug. It is a true internet sensation because of these lovely photos. Look at it and you'll love rodents, even if you hate them.

This is a naked mole rat. As you can see, it is completely hairless and looks more like a rat that has some kind of disease. But despite it being ugly, I somehow find it cute…

A 170-pound sea turtle wasn’t too willing to return to the wild after a year of rehabilitation at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. It is not surprising since the turtle nearly lost his life in the ocean.

The Ramat Gan safari park celebrates the birth of their first sand kitten. This three-week-old kitten Renana was born by Rotem whose first attempt to give birth was unsuccessful. 

The underside of scanned cats are just naturally funny.

Apparently cats and dogs like to dress up in summertime, or at least their owners like them to. These are some adorable cats and dogs in bikinis.

There are few things sadder than an abused dog, but thankfully there are people who have a heart. This rescued dog fully recovered after initially looking like she wouldn’t make it.

While in the Alaskan national park Denali, a photographer managed to shoot pictures of a hungry lynx attempting to grab a bathing duck.

For some unknown reason, pets seem to get sleepy when humans do. That’s probably the reason why they sleep together so often. They sure look cute all cuddled together.

This tortoise damaged its left front leg so badly that the veterinarians had to amputate it. Then they came up with a prosthetic leg that was nothing short of genius.
