I don’t know how the moose usually protect themselves from the heat but this one is clearly the winner

These insects are called the Phasmatodea and there are plenty members of them: stick insects (in Europe), walking sticks or stick-bugs (in the US), ghost insects and leaf insects.
I wouldn’t like someone makes a joke on me using one of these insects ;))

This frog was found in India in 2003. This type of creature has never been discovered on any continent until 2003
This frog lives in southern India within a 14 km² radius. Scientists are lost: some believe that this creature is a mutant; others believe that it dates back to the dinosaur era...

And it is called Enypniastes eximia or pelagic sea cucumber. A fantastic creature!

Very funny polar bears that live at the North Carolina Zoo.
They are funny and love to play with various objects in the water. Well, see for yourself, great mood is guaranteed.

Pandas are perhaps the cutest animals on earth, but when they are born, they take time to become this little fury thing we are used to know :)
A local newspaper offered a price of £ 18.272 in a “contest to name the baby panda”.

You have probably seen this picture. Now we have the story.
During the extinction of bushfires in Australia the firefighters found a koala who managed to escape fires. They gave him water and took it to the animal refuge.
The vets noticed that its paws were damaged by fire. But now everything seems to be fine for Sam the Koala. His paws were taken care of.

Imagine tourists’ reaction when a big elephant came to their camp to find some food.
It was a happy end. The elephant stayed for a little while and then left.

The olm, or proteus is a blind amphibian endemic to the subterranean waters of caves of the Dinaric karst of southern Europe. It is also occasionally called the "human fish" by locals because of its skin color, similar to that of white people.
I’m sure many didn’t see it before, so it’ll be interesting for you to see the pictures ;)

In German zoos, after the Christmas holidays, the pine trees that weren’t sold are given to the zoos around the country. The used trees or too dried up are not good for elephants.
That’s what the Germans have come up with to avoid throwing away the trees )
I think it’s a good idea.

Because of infernal heat in Australia this small Koala hid in the shed to wait there till dusk.
The people that lived there had noticed her and give her a cold bath :)
