Oscar was rescued from animal welfare in South Africa. Since then, he has traveled the world with his owners and is seen here visiting some great landmarks. Sadly, Oscar was recently killed by a car in California.

These lizards, known as Agama Mwanzae, can be found in Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya. Their skin closely resembles that of the neighborhood Spider-Man.
In August, rangers in Mikumi National Park, Tanzania, managed to free this young lion after it had been caught in a poacher's snare for three years and had been kept alive by his pride, who brought him food. The lion was recently spotted making a slow recovery.
