These beautiful photos were taken by photographer Robert Bosch. Robert, who is 57 years old, has climbed the frozen wastes on Antarctica, the icy Alps of Europe, and Mt. Everest in order to get the perfect shot.  These photos are absolutely breathtaking.

The Alter Ego project by photographer Robbie Cooper is created to reveal the “real-life” photos of virtual people. He travelled to France, Germany, and China to meet gamers and take a picture of them so that you could compare their real photos and avatars.

This 40’ mechanical machine is called the Sultan’s elephant and is made quite a stir as it made it way through the streets of London. It was designed by Francois Delarozière, and commissioned to celebrate the death of Jules Verne. The elephant is operated by a crew of 22 and is powered by a mixture of lever, motors and hydraulics. Its trunk even sprays water.
