Apparently, this Canadian Air Force Pilot is living a double life. His name is Colonial Russel Williams and he is 47 years old and has been arrested but not before murdering two women and sexually assaulting two others. He has been breaking into houses and stealing underwear and lingerie from girls as young as eleven and carefully cataloguing all of his loot.
This has got to be the strangest bridge in the world. It is a combination of a suspension bridge, an arch bridge, and a trestle bridge. It is very unique and equally unsafe or at least it looks that way. I wonder where the engineers in that country went to school.
This is the Gotthard base tunnel which is almost 36 miles long. It is the longest railway tunnel in the world. It runs underneath the Alps in Switzerland and is scheduled for opening in 2017. The breakthrough to the east tube just happened in October of 2010.

In Japan, cat cafes have become very popular since 2004 when the first cat café was opened in Osaka. There you can sit with friends, drink coffee or tea and at the same time you will be surrounded by 20-30 cats.
There are rules to follow in such cafes: first, you need to remove your shoes and put on slippers. Then, when you enter the cafe, one of the employee will sprays your hands with disinfectant. It is forbidden to take photos with flash, to grab tails and to wake sleeping kittens.
It helps a lot to bring some treats with you to lure cats come around you, but when the treat is gone, they will be too.
These are photos of bowling alley that have fallen on hard times and been abandoned. I think nearly everyone has fond memories of the bowling alley in their hometown. There have been more than a few good times there.
Babies are so funny, cute, special and hilarious. They can make cool funny faces and express their emotions in the cutest way.

Taking the plunge was a 50/50 chance at life and death. After hoaxes and Victorian shenanigans, the falls were finally tamed for the first time…by a woman!

These are photos of Marseilles, France. It seems that the garbage collectors have been on strike and this is the result. Apparently, they are trying to force the President to raise the retirement age to 62. But I doubt if the President is having any trouble getting his garbage picked up.
