Tokyo underground system is a day-by-day insanity. Local residents and guests are often pressed against windows and other people. Pictures from the series “Tokyo Compression” by Michael Wolf perfectly document the real daily Tokyo subway atmosphere. I wouldn’t enjoy starting my day like this.

These are photos of German soldiers and French people going about their everyday business that were taken by Andre Zucca in Paris during the occupation of France. Apparently, they photographer started a bit of a controversy because the people appeared to be too happy. It was later revealed that the photos were taken for the German propaganda magazine Signal. This is what the salt plantations in Vietnam look like. First, the sea water is poured onto specially designated pieces of land. I have no idea how long it takes for the water to evaporate, but with such a heat in Vietnam, it shouldn’t take a lot of time. Then the workers are brought there for a long working day. In the beginning, the salt is raked into piles (mostly men do it), then it is loaded into wheelbarrows and transported to a large pile near the road (this is women’s job). Then, the salt is transported to a plant for treatment.
This is a life sized figure of Link, the character in the very popular series of video games the Legend of Zelda. It is very lifelike, detailed and it looks great.

These are some secret rooms and the ingenious ways that their owners keep them hidden. They use every trick in the book from fake walls to hidden doors. These people would make great modern day bootleggers.

Apparently, some companies have decided to take their advertising campaigns to the street. It does make some sort of sense because a person might miss an advertisement while watching television. There is no way they will miss these advertisements.

The robot in this post was built entirely from table scraps. Of course, it doesn’t look like a real robot but it is close enough so that you can tell what it is. It would make a great dresser for a kid. If you want one all you need is some table scraps and this post.
These are little girls who are models for the Paris Vogue magazine. Even though they are beautiful children, they look kinda creepy. It’s best when children don't have any makeup at all.
Watch out Energizer Bunny, this battery has been working since 1950, and it is still going strong.

These living conditions are deplorable with all the rats and filth. However, many of them have brought all of their belongings to the rooms that they have created in the tunnel.
These grandmas are really with it. They are acting like teenagers… They are really flaunting their assets. I find it refreshing to find hip grandmas that are young at heart. Take a look and see what you think.
