Life isn’t always the way we want it to be. Welcome to reality :)
This funny comic strip shows that we should empty our recycle bin more often.
Or we can find ourselves in quite an embarrassing situation even if we’re dead ;))
When musicians (guitarists, bassists or drummers) deep into a song they are playing on stage, they start really feeling it. That’s when they make “guitar faces”, being at the peak of their game. Inside this post, you will see a collection of the most memorable photos of emotional guitar faces taken by Metromix photographers. Enjoy!
Do you remember C-3PO also called Threepio from the Star Wars? It looks like this character has finally “come to life” in a form of a backpack. This bizarre backpack doubles as a full size toy when you don’t use it. In backpack mode, it has enough space to carry the iPad tablet inside. What do you think about this idea?
Lots of new websites are created each second that goes by, but in the end, how many bring something new?
The Oatmeal depicts here what kind of websites people must stop to create.
Germans seem to have found a fantastic and realistic way that turns a dull apartment building into an interesting one. Aren’t these wall paintings genius?
Who do you think has won the bra untying contest held in China and got $146? Make your suggestion now. The answer is inside this post.
I have always wondered how to cross my fingers the right way in order to create a shadow that looks like a dog. Now I know how to create a human face!!! This art is called shadowgraphy or ombromanie. It’s not that difficult to learn, and it looks incredible!
Nearly everyone is bitter after a divorce, particularly a man who just got taken to the cleaners by his ex. One way to get revenge is to do terrible things to your ex wife’s wedding dress without her knowing about it, of course. Don’t have any ideas? Check out this post for some dandy ones.
This prison looks horrifying. Arkhangelsk High Security Penal Colony in Russia has nothing in common with Halden Prison in Norway. If Halden looks like heaven, Arkhangelsk prison looks like hell. About 1500 prisoners have to work hard in this “prestigious” colony that consists of a correctional facility CF-28 and a prison-settlement correctional facility CF-23. Not much freedom. This is a real punishment for a committed crime.
In the beginning of the 20th century Albert Kahn started collecting autochrome plates (autochrome was the first industrial process for true color photography). By 1929 he managed to amass over 72,000 photos that were held in an “Archive of the Planet”. Now you can view some of the photographic records inside this post.
This is what most Japanese office workers have for lunch. Some foods look strange, and the portions are sooooo small :)
This comic story made me cry with laughter. Somebody had a fresh look at the iPad. And now you can also look at this device “madness” as an outsider.
So you didn’t care for geometry classes much in high school, huh? Well, the photos in this post will give you a whole new appreciation for the subject.
We have already shown you works of the author Felice Varini on the example of this girl: Excellent Installation
Now we want to present you some other of his grat works.
The geometrical shapes from the angles in these buildings here are simply amazing. Have a look and see if you don’t agree.
A draft of a homemade plane became a real ultralight aircraft in just 8 months. It was constructed by Chinese farmer Shu Mansheng. This plane is 4.5 meters (15 feet) long. It has two engines. Shu spent about 730 USD to finish his aircraft. The trial flight took place on May 10 in Hubei province.
I still can’t believe these are sculptures and not real people. Marc Sijan’s figures look incredible. They are so lifelike and graceful! I can even see veins and pores in the skin. This is just unbelievable that someone could create such impressive and believable figurative sculptures.
Vietnam held a competition for people with supernatural powers. You can now try to guess who has won by looking at the pictures of participants, and see if your idea matches the right answer at the bottom of the page.
