Here is a Like Mom, Like Dad project. This reminds the "young me –me now" project, only here, the idea is different. The whole point is to show that they look like their parents or one of them, normally it goes: the girls look like their mothers and boys look like their fathers. So the kids try to recreate the pictures their parents took when they were young: exact same position, angle and sometimes even the clothes style.

Everybody knows how sports is important in the United States. If at school you do good in sports you can have a bright future, go to the notorious colleges and universities, have scholarships and even become a professional athlete. And sports means a lot of money, not only for athletes but also universities they come from.
So, in order to entice future "stars" in their teams, universities do the most crazy things. For example, the University of Oklahoma built a 4 million dollar locker room for its players. Each athlete's room has a flat TV screen and the latest music system. The locker room looks more like an expensive hotel lobby: marble floors and expensive lighting, not to mention the hot tub and a huge bar counter.
Thus, it is not only useful to go to the university, but it is pleasing as well :)
See for yourself.

Meet Francisco Domingo Joaquim from Angola. He was given the title of the 'World's Widest Mouth' by Guinness World Records. No wonder, his mouth is 6.69 inches wide and can fit in a Coca-Cola can sideways. It’s just crazy.

Don’t forget to look the video.

This great handmade electronic device is sold on one Belarusian forum for only $10,000.

It is so rare and unique that you won’t find it anywhere. Of course, the fact that it is handmade makes the price a little bit higher, but hey, who cares as long as the sound is great ;)

This is an abandoned monument in Bulgaria. It was one of the most celebrated monuments dedicated to communism. However, at the end of the communist era in Bulgaria it was abandoned.

The city of Dubai is absolutely beautiful and the photos from above the city prove it. It is one of the richest cities in the world and it shows. The city has some amazing architecture, especially the skyscrapers. It is an incredible beautiful city.

These are photos of some babies that are dressed up as nerds. They are cute but why their parents would want to dress them up like that is beyond me. Maybe they are on their way to a geek festival.

This is the Vampire Cafe in Tokyo and it’s kinda spooky. It features spiders, skulls, baroque music and it is a very dark place. But the food is good and it doesn’t have any blood on it. The best part is that the waitresses all wear dark little French maid outfits. And it’s not that expensive, dinner for two can cost as much as $100.

Another bunch of funny pictures dedicated to the handiness skills.

There’s a little bit o f everything in this selection, but what gathers them is that they all are related in one way or another to school: from awkward yearbook photos to funny party pics and many others, you’ll see it all!

No? Well you can throw in some yen and get some in a new vending machine that the Chinese have created.

Yup, unreal as it sounds this house cost 1 billion dollars along with 7 years to create. Take a long look at this billion dollar home that features 27 floors, 600 servants, and includes a yoga room and pool. Just look at it. Is that a billion dollar architecture design? To many of us in the western world, we say uhmmm no! Isn’t that something a redneck threw together?

See the answer after the jump.

If you’ve ever wondered what the cockpit of a fighter jet looks like, here’s your chance to see some. It’s a wonder that they know what to do. It is amazing how many knobs, switches, levers, and displays there are.

This Ultramarines Bolt Pistol is a replica of a gun from Ultramarines Warhammer 40k, an upcoming movie based on popular video game series Warhammer 40k. It is really well done and truly impressive, even more given the fact its creator made it in 9 days.

Other weapon replicas inspired from video games:
Fallout 3 Plasma Rifle (36 pics)
Team Fortress 2 Shotgun (31 pics)
Mass Effect Rifle (61 pics)

Some of the questions may seem dumb and ridiculous but after a good thinking, they all make sense. Check them out.

Some kids have everything. Certainly the kids that own these playhouses have the best of everything.  They are better decorated that most people’s homes. Some even have real kitchen and fireplaces. The probably cost as much as most people’s homes as well.

These are road side "historical" markers that all start with "On this site stood." They are socially and politically provocative. They are the creation of artist Norm Magnusson who has been placing them on Interstate 75 for his I-75 Project.

It is a very exciting thing - nature! I suggest you look at the works of Mike Hollingshead. His fearlessness helps him to make incredible shots admired by millions. Mike Hollingshead is a professional storm chaser from Nebraska, USA. However, he takes pictures of not only hurricanes and tornadoes, but other extreme weather phenomena.

Did you know: If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

These are some of our favorite statues...in no specific order this time...

Here are a few visual comparatives for you. Pictures are compared with different objects: nature, animals and even movies. Apart from having a resemblance, there are some funny pictures as well.
