Drag boat racer Quinton Knight crashed his boat but happily he had minor injuries – he broke his leg, in comparison to what could have happened to him in this accident.
Drag racing is considered to be one of the most dangerous sports in the world as the lightweight boats are easily crashed and burst into flames.
Anyways, the pictures are impressive!

What is it, the result of an earthquake?
No, this is another proof that staying behind a solid brick wall can be dangerous and risky.
Happily, in this case there were no casualties...

I wonder how the Bolivian police managed to detain the offender, a suspect in the murder of a taxi driver, basing on such a facial composite.
A woman, who lives near the place where the body had been found, drew a portrait of the alleged assassin for the police.
Journalists have already called this sketch as the worst photofit in the world. You will look at it after the jump, there is also a small bonus: a few different mind-blowing photosfits.

It seems that this girl was very much in a hurry and didn’t have time to do her morning toilet and decided to catch up right in the subway in front of other astonished passengers.
See for yourself, I will refrain from commenting ;)

Peng Shuilin had half of his body amputated after being run over by a truck. But he never gave up!
His recovery has amazed surgeons after almost two years undergoing a series of operations.
The vice-president of the hospital where this 37-year old Chinese man has been treated said: “He is amazing and the only person in the world to survive having so much of his body amputated.”
He’s doing well now and has opened his own bargain supermarket - called the Half Man-Half Price Store.
That’s incredible. It seems nothing can get him down…

Today we will look at how gold bars are made. They then are going into the national gold reserves of Russia.

Let me have a couple of bars please

My brain exploded. On the one hand, these photorealistic sculptures look a little scary, but in anyway they are mega cool.
Most successful hyperrealistic sculptures were created by Ron Mueck, Evan Penny, Jamie Salmon, Duane Hanson, Sam Jinks and Adam Beane.
We will take a look at their work after the jump. A must-see post ;)
