Your surely know Omegle, this site where you can communicate with random, anonymous people across the Internet via chat!
Well, here is another funny conversation between 2 complete strangers…
I won't tell more, read ‘til the end, it is worth it ))

Do you want to see in what conditions office staff used to work, to see the equipment of the time?
Then go inside the post. By the way, there are a lot of pretty girls, mostly secretaries ;)

Maurice Tillet was born in France and was very intelligent and spoke 14 languages.
In his twenties, he developed acromegaly, a rare disease that causes bones to grow wildly and uncontrollably. Soon his whole body was disfigured as a result. Afterwards, he fled France, became a professional wrestler in the United States, and won American Wrestling Association World title. Tillet was dubbed as the "freak ogre of the ring."
There are rumors that the Shrek character was inspired by Tillet’s look. Who knows but he really does have a lot in common with the character.

USS Independence (LCS-2) is the second class prototype for the Independence-class littoral combat ship. It was designed and built by General Dynamics, Aural and Bath Iron Works. It is intended as a small assault transport with a variety of capabilities depending on the mission module installed. The ship is a trimaran design capable of over 40 knots (74 km/h; 46 mph), and will normally be delivered to the US Navy at the end of 2009. This 127-meter ship requires a crew of 40 sailors and has a maximum range of 20,000 km.
Really impressive! I love the design in general, especially the trimaran hull…

How do you think they transport a big brand new locomotive and place it on the rails?
Well, they use an enormous, very long and powerful truck!
I’m always amazed by such trucks…
Look at more pics after the jump.

Look how many people gathered and how hard they are pulling this net.
I wonder what they caught. When you see the catch at the end, it will be quite a surprise for you ))

You just need to see this. This is one of the most beautiful tilt-shift photography I’ve seen till now.
Enjoy!

The author of those cool 8-Bit Fatalities, Steven Lefcourt, was inspired by the controversy over the violence in video games. He says: “Just because you didn’t see pac-man violently tearing into the ghosts with his jaws, or mario smashing in the brains of a goomba, that’s what I knew was happening.”
So, he decided to show us just what he imagined was happening when these pixelized characters came into contact with each other, but in a much more gory way… like in Mortal Kombat!
I love it!

If people lived under water - they would live this way.
Amazing photoworks. Big respect to the authors.

With Photoshop, you can do incredible things!
Here for example, take a photo and remove some details - make them invisible.
And it is a real bomb. Take a look.

The Star Wars universe is still and will always be very inspiring for people who like costumes or who want to make one.
This costume is very inspired too and quite unusual – Luke Skywalker is common but it’s the first time I see a "Luke Skywalker on a tauntaun" costume!
For those who don’t know, this is an animal Luke Skywalker rode in Empire Strikes Back.
It was entirely created by a certain Scott Holden.

Having been in Yemen, photographer Aaron Huey has prepared a very interesting photo essay.
He photographed the Yemeni girls, dressed in traditional Islamic dress burka or niqab.
Aaron also asked the girls different questions.
Let's look into their eyes and read up on what they think about love and other stuff.
SAHIRA 18 years old, student, single
Three things I am looking for in a husband:1. Loves me so much
2. Has good behavior
3. Self-confidence

Hidden talent: “I have no talents.”
Career aspiration: “I want to be a doctor.

Now it is somehow “trendy” in China to climb somewhere and try to commit suicide, but in most cases, no one jumps.
And thank God, it is well that ends well ;)
Here are two cases with girls who were tired of life.
I do not know what made them to take this step, but still, you shouldn’t rush to go there ))

Why do you think all these cab drivers are gathered here? Maybe it was some kind of demonstration or something else like that.
Answer is inside.

These are the works of Sam Nielson, who is an artist for Avalanche Software/Disney Interactive Studios. Vivid, colourful and very beautiful!

These pics are not fresh but we haven’t talked about it here yet.
So, this happened last year, one of the employees of CERN looked exactly the same as the hero of the Half Life game - Gordon Freeman. The guys from Reddit decided to make a joke and sent him “a crowbar, a headcrab and a book, allowing him to go to town on the alien infestation.”
You will see the man in action inside the post :)

Great experiment, watch especially the video, it is really impressive!

Known as the recortadores, athletes compete at dodging and leaping over bulls without the use of the cape or sword. It’s obviously very dangerous for recortadores as you can see on the pics.
I hate tauromachy but here, they never harm or kill the animals, they jut dodge and leap over the bulls so I think it makes it ok.

1700 beach towels were laid out during a Skin Cancer Action Week event on Bondi Beach on November 15, 2009 in Sydney, Australia.
The event was organized by the Cancer Council which placed 1700 beach towels on the beach – one for each of the 1700 Australians who die each year because of skin cancer.
It’s an original way of reminding people that they have to be careful with sun exposure!

Those pictures are wide angle ‘unflattering portraits’ of people retouched with Photoshop (with a simulated HDR look).
It’s an interesting way to see a person, with all his/her imperfections.
Really well done and very funny.
I love it!
