Recently, the President of Russia gave awards to the Olympic winners of last year. It was very fun, just look how good Dmitry Medvedev is at doing faces.
Each picture with his face is very funny. It seems that he is going to pieces when he is around girls

My Chinese skills are pretty much to zero so here is what I understood.
The guy who’s trying to jump off the roof was working in a factory and his boss did not pay him for his work. He came back one night to get what was due to him and was beaten instead, so he went on the roof to commit a suicide.
But luckily, a woman convinced him not to jump by begging him and kneeling on the ground.
Now there is an investigation.

Excellent selection, rather witty and sometimes very funny jokes.

You really need to see these pictures.
This is what I call an unusually great modding.
Even though the gas cooker is small, it’s working just fine.

Normally, I never think I would need one, but when I come back home with plenty of food bags I just wish I had one of those.
Here, you can see a selection of cute, original and creative doorstops!

Here is some funny reading for you about Facebook. It’s a conversation between a mother and her son.
Happily for me, my mother barely knows how to start the computer...

Journey to the Orient Express has always been something more than just a trip.
The route passes through the most beautiful cities of Europe - Paris, Rome, Venice, Vienna, Budapest, Prague and Istanbul. The train has a great comfort and luxury.
For five memorable days spent on the Venice Simplon-Orient Express, a couple should pay €13.160. The price of a ticket for one person is of €8.350.
And now I propose you to look at this beauty.

Looking at the pictures, we could think that those people are sleeping in a gymnasium because of a disaster but no, there is another reason for that.
All those people are parents of new university students. They’re sleeping there to ease the ‘difficult’ separation of the first night far from them, normally…
Of course, it’s for the poor parents, rich ones can go to hostels.

Another series of great Photoshop works.
I liked this selection less than the first one though.

A man decided to cut down a tree that stood near his house (not enough place to park his car, the view from the window is shadowed by the tree, the falling leaves always should be gotten rid of etc).
His neighbour volunteered to help him. And you will see after the break how it all ended.

The tower, built in 1704, is on sale in London for ₤ 4.5 million.
Of course, the works were done there to make it comfortable and now it is fully habitable.
Its size can be compared with a 10-storey building, but there are only two floors. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, lounge and kitchen.

It is always interesting to go back in the past and to see what the first inventions were that influence our everyday life today. How it looked like, how it evolved.
Well, today we will see almost all of the Internet “giants” that have an important place and the way they were in the beginning.
The first picture put on the World Wide Web - 1992
Google – 1996

What the world would be like if people looked in a manga style.
Well, it’s actually ‘manga celebrities’. Some of them don’t even look close but I must admit the way all these pictures are made is just great!
Enjoy!

Artist Luke Jerram has created some of the world’s deadliest viruses and bacteria in glass for his Viral Sculptures exhibition which will be held in London at The Smithfield Gallery, from the 22nd of September to the 3rd of October. He made those masterpieces with the help of virologists and scientific photographs and the help of a team of glassblowers.
We often see pictures of viruses and bacteria in colors but they are actually transparent, so Luke Jerram created each virus and bacterium in its natural colorness state.
Take a look at his impressive and very original work inside the post.

Ghotra can be worn in different ways. Personally, it was a revelation for me.
Inside the post, you will see a “note” with explanations on how to wear it, maybe it would be useful for someone ;)VIP

This one is usually sported by ministers and big officials, as well as in weddings and receptions. You just let your ghotra down, probably with some little folds on both sides of the mirzam, which is the area of the ghotra in the middle of the forehead.

Cool photos made using the tilt-shift technology. The real world turns into a toy.
Really cool! See more inside the post.

It is really horrible. It gives me the creeps.
But there are people who like such things and who are actually wearing them.
