Vatnajökull is the largest glacier in Iceland. It is located in the south-east of the island, covering more than 8% of the country. With a size of 8,100 km², it is the largest glacier in Europe in volume (3,100 km³) and the second largest in area. The average thickness of the ice is 400 m, with a maximum thickness of 1,000 m. Under the glacier, as under many of the glaciers of Iceland, there are several volcanoes.

Polish Woodstock is actually a response to the Woodstock festival that took place in 1969. Its motto is “Love, Friendship and Music.” But the Polish festival is a charity program made to raise funds for the for children's health.

Brothers Frederick and Gerrit Braun were fond of model railroads since their childhood and turned their hobby into a lucrative children's museum Miniatur Wunderland, which is annually visited by a huge number of tourists.
Before the upcoming elections on Sept. 27, German political parties imagined the way the elections are going to happen and represented it in miniature in the toy town of brothers Braun.

There is a farm in England for trout breeding.
One day, farmers began to notice that the trout population was rapidly decreasing.
While they searched for the reason, they were almost left without the fish.

Joao and Rosemere Fernandes de Andrade are dark-skinned Afro-Brazilians, however, three of their five children are albinos!
Scientists are quite stunned because both parents are black and 2 of their children are black too. They say it’s a really rare case.

It’s like a mobile house. You build it once and then if you need to move you can not only take some baggage with you but the whole house. The only thing is, it is a bit small.
But it has an advantage, apparently you don’t need to attach it while transporting as you will see in the pictures. I wouldn’t risk it though ;)

An amazing selection of photos of the Normandy in the first days after the allied forces landed in 1944 and the way it is today.
It is interesting to compare the same place back then and nowadays.

This girl became pregnant and decided to have a photo-diary.
