Plastic or polymer banknotes were first developed by the Reserve Bank of Australia in 1988. Advantages of such banknotes are quite obvious: they last significantly longer than paper notes, have lesser environmental impact, a reduced cost of production and replacement and incorporate many security features not available to paper banknotes, including the use of metameric inks. 8-year-old Thomas Moore decided to grow his hair and donated it to the kids who lost theirs to cancer. He got this idea after watching a video on Facebook with his mom of a girl who lost her hair to a chemotherapy. It took him two years to grow and he had enough to make three wigs!

China has the population of over 1.381 billion which is constantly growing. Plus, as of 2015 the country has dropped their “one child policy.” Today, Chinese couples are allowed to have 2 children per household. The government hopes that it will help to balance the country’s demographics. In the meantime, their population will continue to grow even faster now. And as you will see in these pictures, China is already very crowded…
