These amazing old advertisements for computers are really funny to us now. These are from the days where they still had to convince us that computers weren't an instrument of the devil, and that we would find them affordable and useful. From promises of better productivity to making us think it was sexy to have a computer, the advertisers pimped out Leonardo DaVinci and Dom Delouise to hawk their wares.

These are the best advertisements on buildings. They are very clever and ingenious. The advertisement illustrates their slogan if they have one. They certainly make their point and do the product a real service.

These are some advertisements for old computers. There are two things that really stand out. The first is what they termed as portable in those days. The second is how expensive they were. Some things weren’t so good in the good old days.
Those who dislike nowadays ads and commercials have never seen a vintage ad of the 50-s. The kids from the posters, supposed to look cute, are absolutely spooky! I dare say parents used to terrify their disobedient children with those ad pictures. And one more thing I wonder about - did the companies make any profit with those ads?!

Ads are like selling letters. You need to write them to make people really want to buy what you are selling. This add created by 2001 Ford Taurus owner is the most unusual and creative I ever read. It truly draws your attention.

I know that a lot has changed compared to the 50’s and that our society was quite sexist but I didn’t know that it was sexist to that extent.
