Sunset Selfies are created by an artist and his cardboard cut-outs he cobbles together to make the scene. If you live by the ocean, why not turn it into an art, right?
Monomi Ohno is a student at Osaka School of Arts in Japan who didn’t have enough money to fund her school projects, so she had to find an alternative way. And it’s fair to say that she’s now perfected what started as a simple economy plan.
Alicia Brown lives in Melbourne, Australia, and designs templates for people to make costumes out of cardboard. She says she loves cardboard, and thinks it’s completely underestimated. Most people throw away their cupboard boxes, but when Alicia gets a brand new crisp cardboard box in the house, she gets really excited about the possibilities.
Monomi Ono wanted to choose 3D animation as her profession, but to study it in the university of Osaka you have to pay a lot. To practice, she started using cardboard boxes from Amazon deliveries, and it became a passion and a real art.

Monomi Ohno studied at Osaka University of the Arts, where she specialized in 3-D animation. But she had no money for the expensive 3-D equipment, so she decided to use Amazon cardboard boxes instead, and gradually turned into a real cardboard artist.
A mother in Philippines wanted to offer her daughter a kids kitchen play set. So she decided to make it herself. Even though it is made out of cardboard, it looks simply amazing. This girl has one creative mother.

These are paper allusions with the theme of a plane crash or road accident. Moreover, the artist draws imaginary cardboard apartments with kitchens, bathrooms and toilets.
