The Osborne 1 was the first laptop computer sold commercially and was released in 1981 by the Osborne Computer Corporation. Weighing in at a hefty 10.7 kg (23.5lb), the computer cost $1795 and used the CP/M 2.2 operating system.

A guy from Russia enjoyed the Pixar animation film so much, that he decided to create this amazing case for a tiny Intel Atom motherboard. It took only 18 days to make the fully metal case, the CAD renderings of which were based on screenshots from the movie.
While some of these pictures are apparently photoshopped to create an impressive effect, most of them feature desktop wallpapers amazingly selected to produce the optical illusion of a transparent computer display.

Room for the gamers will be soon a mandatory attribute in the home of aristocrats like a library. Here is an example of proper room for playing computer games.
As it turns out, a table with a glass top makes a fine place to house the workings of a computer. It certainly makes an interesting conversation piece while you are eating your dinner.
While many of these computer interface screenshots are from classic movies such as Tron, Sleepless in Seattle and Clueless there are quite a few from more recent, and not so classic movies. Regardless, it is interesting to see how computers have changed over the years.

This is supposedly a unique way to warm your pizza at the office. It appears that you simply place your slices of pizza in a chamber beneath your Mac computer and it will warm while you are working. It looks real but I don’t know.
