The artist Judy Gelles volunteered in an inner city school two years ago and asked the students three simple questions: What do they wish for? Whom do they live with? and What do they worry about? The follow portraits reveal their answers.

Meet Oberon Zel Ravenheart. The 68 year old has dedicated his life to studying the Dark Arts. He has opened the first recognized wizard academy just north of San Francisco, California, called the Grey School of Wizardry and is giving the world of Harry Potter a run for its money. The school teaches sixteen departments, such as spell casting, wand making, horse whispering, breast mastery, and alchemy.

The popular boobies’ bracelet is causing issues all over the United States, but after a school bans two girls from wearing the breast awareness bracelet in a Philadelphia PA school the ACLU is becoming involved in the dispute. There are hundreds of schools that have banned the boobie bracelets, but this is the first one that has the ACLU involved itself in.

Who would win? Well in Land o Lakes public school Betty Boop hands down. When this 4th grader attended school with his backpack he was told it was inappropriate for the school. The 4th grader has been toting the backpack for 2 years before another student’s parent complained to the secretary about the backpack.

There’s a little bit o f everything in this selection, but what gathers them is that they all are related in one way or another to school: from awkward yearbook photos to funny party pics and many others, you’ll see it all!
