While driving on a desert road, a father and a son noticed a dog in a tar pit. They rescued it and rushed into a veterinary clinic. Happily, the dog could survive and is expected to recover completely. This little buddy stays with the clinic's stuff while waiting to regain his strength.

This two week old kitten got completely trapped between two large rocks and firemen had to bring in the Jaws of Life to free him. Luckily he survived and has already been adopted by a caring family.
