Girardi did anperaptly throw Igawa's name into the mix today according to Pete Abraham, so you never know. I think he just has mental issues and as a reliever he wouldn't have time to psych himself out and overthink the start. He'd just have to instantly react to whatever situation he was in. I don't know, but whatever they were doing last year that kept the bullpen pitching to the 7th best ERA in the leagues, I hope they keep doing it!
